Fun With Words!

Do you want some creative ways to practice science vocab words? Then read on!

Here are some vocab words we chose to go along with the Space Chile Challenge.

Plant Anatomy Vocab

Here's a list of words to teach your children so they can communicate clearly about each part of a plant.

Learn Those Words!

Here is a photo of this activity, all laid out on a table for the children to work. I have a piece of paper with colorful crayons, and little cards with each word. There are also pepper plants on the table for the children to reference as they work.

Draw Those Words!

Match Those Words!

Once you have made your own pictures of the vocabulary words, you can save them and come back to them to match them with their words anytime!

We organized our mixed-up pile of words so the images matched with their words.

Find and Photograph Those Words!

We found each part of the plant and photographed them. Here's a photo of a pepper, branches, and leaves.

Here's a photo of some flowers from the same plant. These bumped off the plant as we looked at it closely. That happens sometimes.

Sing Those Words!

One of our children decided to take a break from drawing to tinker on the piano keyboard. She made up her own little tune as she practiced spelling, which turned into a song! Can you make your own song with your words?

Dance Those Words!
