Parks of Florida's Space Coast - Cameron Barkley Rotary Memorial Park in Cocoa Beach

Cameron Barkley Rotary Memorial Park is a small neighborhood park in Cocoa Beach.  It is open from 6am - 10pm daily.

There is no parking lot. There are no bathrooms or water fountains. There is no beach access. This little park is just off the highway (A1A), so it's fully fenced and gated. It has a playground, swings, a tennis court, and a small covered picnic area.

Here's the sign that welcomes folks to the park.

Each gate into the park reminds folks of the park hours.
An overview of the playground:  wood chip mulch is the substrate. There is a step up to get into the play area. There is some shade built in, and the palm trees provide a bit of shade as well. There's a climbing wall, two slides, and steps. I found it easy to navigate the space and my kids loved playing pirates here.
Here's my 5 year old on the equipment. It was all fun for her!
There's even a grassy field that is just perfect for playing frisbee. You can see the swings in the background here. There is one baby swing and one half baby swing present in this park. There is a step up to access the swings.

In the picnic area they have a recycling bin, and there's a trash can that is nearby as well.
Our 5 year old really loved the lichen growing on this palm tree. When you look carefully at any place that you visit you'll notice biological treasures, too!
